Kiwiana Backpackers

Kiwiana Backpackers hostel is located only 5 minutes walk from the Takaka town centre and it's wonderful cafe's, bars, movie theater, shopping, supermarket and visitors information centre (i-site). Takaka is the central hub for the panoramic Golden Bay, the 'Heart of the Parks' - Abel Tasman and Kahurangi.

A taste of Kiwiana

Kiwiana backpackers is a beautiful warm villa with a huge garden. You can relax on the sunny deck, cook a BBQ, soak in the hot tub or sit by the cosy log fire. We have great showers, made-up beds, a homely kitchen with herbs, tea and coffee provided. Being run by a 'local', we can offer travel and trekking information galore, "specialty knowledge" of the Abel Tasman Park and Golden Bay area.

Be prepared for a warm welcome, well-travelled staff and brilliant atmosphere.
